MORE FREE STUFF - NEWSLETTER

Hi there - I have been quite busy again and once more I am sending details of all the new stuff that has been added to the site since the last newsletter (21st May).

I have also come across a number of good sites this month - which will offer more free stuff and inspiration.

Enjoy...

Ideas for Nunu

I have had contact from a lovely lady called Christina who has used the Nunu Digital Stamps and some backing papers from this site to make these beautiful cards.  Loving the execution of your cards here Christina - thanks.  I am including her pics in the Gallery with some clearer links to the exact papers she has used - and I have also put the pix here for a little inspiration.  Christina also runs a beautiful website full of ideas and links.  Visit her site click here

New Digital Stamp Range

Following a suggestion from Eleanor in Christchurch New Zealand - I have started a range of characters for the chaps.  Eleanor pointed out that they were sometimes problematic and thought that a range of characters - like Nunu but for men would be a fantastic addition to the site (and get us all out of a pickle when making a chap a card).

As with all of the stamps - they are available in black and white for you to colour - or you can print your topper ready coloured if you wish.  I will of course be adding to this range and will let you know when new ones have been added to the site.

Great suggestion Eleanor - thanks for this and hope you all like them.

A GOOD SITE FOR INSPIRATION

Have had contact from a lovely lady called Vicki who runs a site called ''Card Making Ideas''.

She has got some good ideas and inspiration on her ''how to'' pages and also a nice gallery that may inspire.

Or as she says herself: ' tips Ideas and step by step guides on every aspect of card making'.

NEW COUNTRY COTTAGE DIGITAL STAMPS

Following the ''inglenook fireplace with Aga stamp'' - here are a couple more for you in the Country Cottage range.  As said before - these go terrifically well with the Rose Chintz Backing Papers - also the Tumbling Daisy Chintz, Butterfly Chintz and the Tulip Backing Papers.

More Printable Downloads

I have recently discovered this site and it offers 1000's of printable downloads - some are free - the rest are costing around 50p each.  Have fun browsing and CLICK HERE for the site.

Yet more free printables.

I have been having a go at digital scrapbooking lately (loving this by the way) and have discovered a lot of sites that offer free digital scrapbooking supplies.

Now - of course you can print these out!  So all of the wonderfully tasty backing papers they do in digital format you can grab and print for your supplies box.

INK SO CHEAP YOU COULD BATH IN IT! (although please don't because you will look strange and you will ruin your bath)

Well crafters.  I am sure you will agree that the one thing that really makes crafting expensive is the cost of ink in your printer.  Well no more.  I have found a cracking little system from a company called Impact Computers (http://www.impact-computers.co.uk) .  They do refillable cartridges (NOT LIKE FILLING UP THE OLD ONES) .  These are clear and have a chip in them that resets itself according to how much ink they have in them.  Super easy to refill (leave them in the printer if your printer allows this and simply squirt more ink in the top of them).  The kit for mine cost about £30 (6 colour cartridge system) - and included 100ml of each colour ink (600ml in total).  After this the ink will cost me £2.99 for a 100ml bottle or £4.99 for a 250ml bottle!  Now actually 250ml is a quarter of a litre and even at my prodigious printing rates - would take me about 3 years to get through!!!   If you feel brave enough they even do 1ltr bottles.

By comparison buying a full set of epson cartridges for my printer costs around £75 and only gives me a total of around 60ml of ink.

They offer free postage if your order is over £49 and the stuff comes pretty quickly.  Ink does not clog or clot and produces fantastic results.

Cannot praise this company and this system enough (and they are not paying me to write this or giving me commission).

Although - as I say - I only have experience of the stuff they do for an epson 1400 - and cannot really comment on other systems - my experience would say YAY!

Good luck crafters.
